I dont know what the coverage is like in England. But the US coverage is still living in the past. Man U, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal lead all the coverage. Oh and the freak that is Leicester .
Standard analysis of the table inevitably goes something like this.
1st place Leicester
2nd place Tottenham
3rd place Arsenal
with Man City in 4th
Man United are still in 6th but hoping to reach the Champions league places
We dont even get a mention. It is most tiresome

I'm enjoying a season for the first time in years (& years).
The more intelligent ones have been saying nice things.
Linecker winds up Shearer by reminding him of "Careful what you wish for". Shearer bigs up Nobes & asked Woy why he hasn't been chosen for England.
We have the making of a good team but I don't know any WHU fans who has sounded off like the Spuds about we have the rights & entitlement to be the champions league.
For god's sake enjoy the ride. Glass half full mate.

I hope we continue to not get the credit we deserve. It means we are less likely to be in the spotlight and our team can comfortably keep doing what its doing.

To be honest, as magnificent as Leicester have done this season, and they fully deserve to be where they are, fuck me they have had the rub of the green on so many levels. You need luck to achieve anything great, and they've had it in spades. I hope they do it, but I tell you something, other than league positions, I wouldn't swap anything else with them. Whatever happens this season, they'll go back to being a mid table club next season, they'll lose Kante & Mahrez, whilst we'll get stronger.

I actually feel more annoyed today about the ref's decision on the penalty costing us 4th spot this morning. SSN keep showing the top 4 as a graphic and then talking about Man Utd this and that. To be in the top 4 would have put greater pressure on both Manchester clubs. Frustrating.

Reasons why the media etc aren't keen on us:
1. The whole "we won the World Cup" thing.
2. The whole 'everyone's second team' in a sympathetic / patronising sort of way.
3. We cost Man Utd the title when the PL & Sky were geared up totally to support man Utd and build their brands in partnership
4. We sacked renta quote redknapp.
5. They watch too many football holligan films and believe them.
6. We sacked their mate Allardyce
7. We proved the "be careful what you wish for" brigade wrong.
8. We, along with Leicester, have blown away so many PL myths this season meaning pundits and journos can't churn out their lazy cliched shite anymore

We're certainly getting more credit now than we were a month ago.

We've received loads of credit this season and pundits have been drooling over us at times.
Not just Payet, but virtually every squad member has been praised at one time or another. The media are loving Bilic too.
Leicester have overshadowed everything and rightly so but how much credit do you want us to receive? The big test will be next season when the so called 'big teams' will look to improve and it's up to us and the likes of Leicester to try to continue doing what we're doing and stay ahead of them.
This season couldn't have gone much better for us in my opinion. Some truly unbeliveable results.

Think we're getting a fair amount of credit from pundits. But plenty of friends and colleagues who predicted that Bilic wouldn't do well are still not quite accepting it yet. Oh well!

A win yesterday would have given us a lot more coverage, top 4 is all the media care about so they would have been talking about us a lot more. Whatever happens now this season I'm just happy to have my West Ham back! ⚒

At the end of the day Leicester are justifiably getting the Lion's share of the credit as there's is a wonderful story. But asides from that there's the like of Tottenham (sorry!), Bournemouth and Watford having fantastic seasons. Even Palace for the first of the season till they bombed were worthy of praise.
We're doing great. Lets just enjoy it and not bother with getting worried about silly little things like this.
